You can find cheap overclockable cpus and hardware via the retailers here: CLICK HERE
Thanks to all of you who checked out our Nudist Overclocking Gallery. We received some extremely interesting feedback....
HARDOCP have an interesting article up on the GeForce and it's capabilities. Kyle invited Sarah to take a look at his blowhole (TM).
ANANDTECH has an interesting Athlon overclocking guide up, for all of you who are wondering how it's done.
OVERCLOCKERS.COM have a short but sweet article on AMD's assault on overclockers. Makes an interesting read but needs to be illustrated with artistic renderings of overclocking women.
We're addicted to keeping abreast.......
Keep piling those entries in to our CPU speeds Survey. Quite disturbingly, 9% of you claim to run your CPUs at 900mhz or higher, now I'm not one to be cynical, but well, I'm cynical....
MAIL US with your ideas and suggestions for reviews. We are still looking for people to review items and write articles for the site. If you would like to submit something then TELL US!
As you can see from yesterday's news, Sarah has worked out how to use the TV capture facilities on her 3DFX Voodoo 3 3500 card. This could mean some extremely interesting pictures heading your way in the near future. Nude Weather reports, Nude Drama, Nude Game Shows.......... Nude nudity?
-SUNDAY 23RD JANUARY 2000-
Sarah just got word from Jim over at Tweakfiles www.tweakfiles.com (she's beginning to suspect that he has sexual longings for her.......) that there is a new program out which allows you to mess with the cache settings on AMD Athlon CPUs. I was quite astounded by the fact that this can be done in software.....
"WCPUA2 is program that controls Athlon L2 speed. Since "goldfinger devices" allow access to the multiplier and voltage but do not control the L2 Cache of the Athlon, if you intend to overclock your Athlon, this program is a must."

The Nude Overclockers take the sporting world by storm! Sarah, Gayle, Tamika and Alison have been very active this weekend. As well as participating in Olympic paragliding, the girls have been featured live on TV!
Millions around the world tuned in to see the girls riding naked through the Intel sponsored hurdles course in silicon valley. Alison got off to a very bad start when confusion broke out when she was asked to "mount her horse"......
After it was explained to her that all she had to do was "ride the damn thing" even more confusion broke out...
It was a close run race, with Sarah the strong favourite winning by two lengths. She picked up her trophy and $750 for charity....
Barely (no pun intended) two hours after winning the NudeOC hurdles, Sarah advanced to the fourth round of the Australian open where she faced a serious battering from Gayle.
A fight briefly broke out when a misunderstanding arose on Sarah's part. When Sarah asked why her racket wasn't performing well, Gayle replied "You're too highly strung"....
The ABIT ftp site HERE has new beta BIOS drivers for their BE6, BE6ii and BP6 motherboards. If you are running one of those boards you may want to go for the BIOS update. Although at this stage they haven't actually said what changes have been made. I guess it's a case of do it and see....
"Alison tries her own version of Pilotwings"
If you're into arcade gaming and emulation then check out this hot site. Arcade Heaven. Sarah spent hours there reliving old memories. (She still holds the world record for Sonic The Hedgehog - Level 1 completed in 25 seconds.........
We've just completed our NudeOC gallery section. Here you can find pictures of us doing what we do best ....overclocking! Take a look through the gallery and let us know what you think. EMAIL. If there are any pictures you would like included then let us know.
"Ever wondered how life started? Now you know."
-SATURDAY 22ND JANUARY 2000-
WebReview - http://webreview.com had this to say about the Nude Overclockers:
"Sarah, Gayle, Tamika, and Alison are the Stan, Kyle, Eric, and Kenny of clothing-optional semiconductor performance enhancement"
Gayle says: "Oh my god, they killed Sarah........"
Tamika just read over at Tweakfiles www.tweakfiles.com that there is a new version of Hardware Sensors Monitor out:
This program monitors and displays hardware parameters collected by the several sensor chips, installed on certain motherboards, and is a cooler for your CPU, decreasing it's temp by up to 30 degrees.
The program can monitor voltages, temperatures of CPU and motherboard and cooler fans RPMs. The Program can be used under Windows 95/98/2000/NT operating systems on Intel-based personal computers. A wide range of boards and sensors is supported.

Sarah's secret lover, Kyle - www.hardocp.com has picked up on an article regarding AMD's move to new on-die L2 cache:
"We intend to integrate the L2 cache onto an improved version of the Athlon, which will be called Thunderbird," said W.J. Sanders III, AMD's chairman and chief executive officer. "And we will also have a version of that product that uses a socket infrastructure for the value-PC segment, which will be the Spitfire."
"The upcoming Thunderbird device will boost performance by transforming the Athlon's current 512 kbytes of off-chip L2 cache into 256 kbytes of on-die L2 cache. Brookwood noted that Intel used the same strategy to turn its Katmai chip into the Coppermine, with cache sizes in the same ranges as the Athlon and Thunderbird designs."
"Intel gained about a 10 percent increase in performance, and I would expect AMD to do about the same," he said. "The cartridges with separate SRAM cache chips should disappear once the Thunderbird is ready to roll."

We are looking for hardware reviewers for the site. If you are interested in writing a piece then LET US KNOW. You can review anything you like (so long as it's hardware related) and we'll put your reviews up on the site for everyone to read. If you prefer, you can write an editorial or article on something that you feel strongly about in the hardware world.
This site is as much yours as ours, so if you would like to have your voice heard then DROP US A LINE and we'll post your articles. - Gayle
The CPU speeds survey is proving to be very interesting with over 500 entries now. If you haven't yet done so, go and ENTER YOUR SPEED into the database. From the results so far 50% of you run your computers at 450-600mhz.
Judging from the amount of email we've received, 99.9% of you want us girls to get a live webcam. Should we? Maybe.....
(The other 0.1% was a Blind Ukranian Shoe Lace Vendor (HERE) who was allergic to webcams...........)
-FRIDAY 21ST JANUARY 2000-
If you haven't yet done so, check out this great review of the Sys Cold Fusion 1000mhz system at Ace's Hardware. HERE
Well we finally gave in to the pressure. The NudeOC mailbox has been blitzed with demands for us girls to show ourselves overclocking for real. So, after much consideration, two of us agreed to do it............(see above)
-THURSDAY 20TH JANUARY 2000-
The little known Transmeta corporation today revealed a secret that has been well kept for four years. They have released a series of mobile computing processors (running at speeds up to 700mhz).
Visit the TRANSMETA site for more......
Re-thinking the Microprocessor In a radical departure from traditional microprocessor design, Transmeta made innovative use of software to implement many functions that had previously been implemented in hardware. This approach gives Crusoe both the high performance and low power required for today's demanding mobile computing environment.
The key to Crusoe's unique architecture is its Code MorphingTM software. Code Morphing software surrounds a simple Very Long Instruction Word (VLIW) silicon engine to deliver a fully PC compatible processor. It is this software that provides the compatibility by "morphing" (i.e. translating x86 instructions) to the underlying hardware engine.
Crusoe is a smart processor that "learns" about an application while it runs and uses that experience to greatly extend battery life. Using a new Transmeta invention called LongRunTM power management, Crusoe continuously adjusts its operating speed and voltage to exactly match the needs of the application workload. LongRun can make adjustments hundreds of times per second, which can dramatically extend battery life. This is in contrast to other processors that run at a fixed operating speed on batteries, needlessly wasting battery life.
LongRun also provides a solution for today's strenuous multimedia applications that typically drain an ultra-light PC's battery in as little as an hour. With LongRun, it is possible to design a light-weight mobile PC that plays a DVD movie for three hours or more.
The Crusoe Product Family The Crusoe processor family consists of two solutions, the TM5400 and the TM3120, for the Mobile Internet Computing market.
The model TM5400 is targeted at ultra-light mobile PCs running Microsoft Windows and NT operating systems. These PCs will take advantage of the TM5400's high performance (up to 700MHz) and LongRun power management to create the longest running mobile PCs for office applications, multimedia games and DVD movies.
The TM3120, operating at up to 400MHz, is designed for economical Web pads and mobile clients. With the Crusoe processor and the Mobile Linux operating system, users can expect a complete Internet experience, including access to the full range of plug-in applications. Transmeta provides Mobile Linux assistance to OEMs looking to accelerate their time to market with new mobile Internet devices.
Pricing and Availability The TM3120, available immediately, is economically priced for Linux-based Web pads and devices selling for $500 to $999. The 333MHz version sells for $65 while the 400MHz version sells for $89.
The TM5400, sampling now, will be offered in a range of performance levels from 500MHz to 700MHz to meet the needs of ultra-light mobile PCs selling for between $1200 and $2500. Transmeta expects that Crusoe-based systems with these attractive price points will be available in the marketplace by mid 2000. The 500MHz version will list for $119, while the 700MHz version will list for $329

Just a quickie - (said the vicar to the actress) - If you like South Park (and yes this is completely unrelated to overclocking) then CHECK OUT this cool site that Alison found.
Check out our new FORUM. Interact with the babes and other mad overclockers. CHECK IT OUT.
Gayle would like to say hi to Greg, her gorgeous one night stand from New York. She offered him everything on their first intimate night together and he declined........(something about the trail of roses not quite looking right). Such is the nature of 3d rendered nude love........
The NudeOC gang have been working hard to give you what you want. (No, that doesn't mean sex, sex and more sex.) We're talking about reviews. After all this is a (albeit somewhat provocative) PC hardware site.
CHECK OUT our review of the one and only RATPADZ, the hottest mouse mat on the planet. This thing is seriously huge and does wonders for your gaming skills. - Watch the frag-count zooooooooom.....
If you don't care about mousemats then fair enough, but check it out anyway as there is a very interesting article about how Kyle from HardOCP (who created the ratpadz) is being allegedly "harassed" by Everglide. (Didn't really want to say allegedly, but when innocent people get sued for anything nowadays it's always best to do so........)
-TUESDAY 18TH JANUARY 2000-
Sarah would like to welcome Celery504 into the nude overclocking house of fun. Having previously run his own hardware site the girls welcome his "extensive input".......
For his first effort here he has written an in-depth review of Windows Millennium (Beta). This is not Windows 2000, it's Windows Millennium, so there.......;-p CHECK IT OUT
Alison is compiling a database of overclocked Athlon speeds, so if you own one and take pleasure in getting your speed up (ahem) then CHECK IT OUT and make a poor girl happy.......
Remember, you still have time to enter our free competition to win a 32meg graphics accelerator card. You can do so by CLICKING HERE.
-SUNDAY 16TH JANUARY 2000-
If you're after a cheap high speed system then u may want to CHECK THIS OUT Sarah was contacted by "DuhDrummer" (interesting nick) begging to expose his............offer. It's a celeron 300a that runs at 550mhz + with an ABIT mobo. Bids start at $99........
While hanging out in the red light district, Tamika came across a guy (not uncommon for Tamika) called Priapism. After going back to his apartment under the misguided conception that she was in for a night of nookie, he revealed his most sacred treasure: A DUAL 605 Mhz Celeron system!
In what is certainly the first case that we have heard of, this lucky bar-steward has 2 Celeron 366 processors BOTH running at 2.0v and 605mhz on an Abit BP6 motherboard.
THE ABIT BP6 DUAL CELERON BOARD
Of course, being the suspicious minx that Tamika is, she asked for proof of this:
Processors running at a very nice 2.0 volts.
They were week 31 celeron 366 cpus, serials: 79310042-0078 and 0077, - FV524rx366.
Priapism can be found on #celeron on Efnet which you can connect to via our LIVE CHAT section, if you want to pay homage to an overclocking master. This system has no extra cooling and only a small amount of thermal grease, now that's what I call sweet....
If you are indulging in insane overclocking then LET US KNOW. We'll post your stories and specs on the site for all to see.
We have also received word that week 52 and later AMD Athlon chips have 0.18 micron cores. Now this is yet to be substantiated so don't rush out and buy one until it's confirmed, but if so, they should overclock to seriously high speeds.
-SATURDAY 15TH JANUARY 2000-
Sarah sleeps with Bill Gates! (allegedly)
The nude overclockers were stunned earlier this evening when it was revealed that our very own Sarah has been having an illicit rendezvous with none other than the ex CEO of microsoft. (allegedly) Now this is somewhat of a bombshell to Kyle who thought that Sarah was exclusively his......I guess she's a woman of the nineties (or should I say the noughties?).......
On a more serious note, we would like to know what you want to see reviewed on the site. Processors? Graphics Cards? Sex Toys? Send us a MAIL and let us know. Gayle needs your input......
-THURSDAY 13TH JANUARY 2000-
For those of you who haven't yet done so, answer our SURVEY question. We are building a database of results to work out the average speed of our visitor's computers. So far it would seem that the largest range is 450-550mhz.
-TUESDAY 11TH JANUARY 2000-
Those of you who have been in the overclocking scene for a while will probably use a cooling program that helps keep your CPU at lower temperatures. One such program which the Nude Overclockers use is CPUidle.
When you are using your computer there are many times when your CPU is not actually doing anything. CPUidle effectively shuts it down for a microsecond at a time, which stops large build-ups of heat. When the NudeOC gang overclocked their old P233mmx, they found that using using CPUidle, which also gives information about the type of CPU you have was very useful in making the system more stable.
A new version (CPUidle 6.0 Beta 1) has just been released and you can download it HERE.
New features include:
support for AMD Athlon support for Intel PIII (Katmai and Coppermine) support for all Celeron CPUs (Covington and Mendocino) support for latest MotherBoard Monitor 4.11 supports all new MBM sensors improved performance and stability misc. bug fixes
Sadly, not even CPUidle can keep things cool when Sarah gets out of the bath............

The Nude Overclockers proudly present their first FREE COMPETITION!
Gayle is giving away a great new 32MB Graphics Accelerator card in our brand new competition. It's very easy to enter. This is the first of many competitions that we will be running here. The winners will be announced on the site. CHECK IT OUT
-SUNDAY 9TH JANUARY 2000-
Gayle has just updated the "How To Overclock" SECTION with an article by her ex cyber-sex partner "Uoaphys". After a torrid romance he dumped her in an IRC chatroom and left her for dust. However, after being reminded of her amazing assets, courtesy of NudeOC he has decided in a somewhat pathetic gesture of reconciliation to give her one (an article) on advanced celeron overclocking......
-SATURDAY 8TH JANUARY 2000-
Tamika: Casio have announced three new "cyber" watches. Full story is HERE.
Casio's MP3 watch is an ultracool water-resistant digital wristwatch that lets you download MP3 songs to it from your computer. By summer, the watch will ship in 16MB, 32MB, and 64MB configurations and will have both a USB jack for fast music downloads and a headphone jack for listening to your music in private. But even cooler than its supersmall size is that it comes with rechargeable batteries. If there's one thing we've learned with the current crop of portable MP3 players it's that they eat batteries faster than you can buy new ones. Of course the MP3 watch also keeps time, has a built-in stopwatch, and has an alarm. As of this writing, pricing has been set for the 16MB and 32MB versions at $199 and $249 respectively.
If you live in the UK and are interested in buying a 1000mhz PC then you can do so HERE. Carrera are selling a Kryotech cooled 1000mhz accelerated AMD Athlon CPU system for "only" £3000. ($5000) The specs are as follows:

Now even after collecting her payment from Kyle (see below), Sarah still doesn't have enough to buy it.
Sarah sleeps with a celebrity! We (Gayle, Tamika and Alison) can exclusively reveal to the NudeOC visitors that Sarah has been indulging in late night romps with none other than Kyle Bennett from the Hard OCP.
In what surely must be a world exclusive, Sarah gives a full blow by blow account of her night of passion with "big boy"............
"IT WAS THIS BIG!" - Sarah
It all began when Sarah ran out of thermal grease late last night and posted an S.O.S on the site asking for emergency replies. She didn't have to wait long. Kyle was on the phone immediately, offering his services and when Sarah asked how much he had, he simply replied: "I'll fill you in later"...
So, she went around to his house, obviously not wearing anything and after he offered to show her his heatsink, this happened:
Eleven hours later, Sarah came stumbling back into the house desperate for a drink of water. She refused to say anything else, but I think we can all piece the rest together ourselves.........
Now some would say that Kyle isn't exactly a studmuffin but unless you have proof otherwise I guess we'll all just have to accept that he is a seriously hot sex god..........If you think otherwise then E-MAIL Sarah and tell her!
Gayle has just added a new overclocking survey to the site. We want to know how fast your CPU is running at. Click above to jump to the survey and see the results. We can't wait to see how far you can get it up...(Your CPU speed of course)
-FRIDAY 7TH JANUARY 2000-
Sarah has been giving it all she can. Have you ever been to a hardware site and not quite understood something? Needed to ask a question there and then and not wait for email or message boards. Well now, courtesy of the Nude Overclockers you can CHAT LIVE to overclocking experts. Our new LIVE CHAT section is up and running, CHECK IT OUT!
In great style, Tred has just posted a huge article on the history of the Celeron processor. If you need help overclocking one or want to know more about them then Check it out! Gayle is quite impressed at Tred's first effort. Special attention for him tonight.......
-THURSDAY 6TH JANUARY 2000-
It is with great pleasure that we announce our new staff writer at the Overclocking Nudist Colony. Tred, who was previously a writer at f3d.net and regularly brought news and reviews to the overclocking masses has been lured to the Nude Overclockers. (Sarah thinks he likes her smooth skin. He denies this of course) The girls welcome Tred to NudeOC and look forward to him performing well.........
(A rendered version of Tred - After Gayle refuses to sleep with him)
The nude overclockers have gone down very well (no jokes please) in the overclocking community. Having received several thousand hits in less than 1 day Tamika, Sarah, Alison and Gayle are just bursting with happiness. We aim to make this site a fun and friendly place to learn about overclocking and most importantly we need your input. MAIL US with any ideas and suggestions, or any articles that you would like posted.
-WEDNESDAY 5TH JANUARY 2000-
The Nude Overclockers launch in a pyrotechnic display of Millennial Madness and stun the world with their severe lack of clothing! In what is the first new overclocking site of the Millennium, Tamika, Gayle, Alison and Sarah have burst onto the scene, looking hauntingly sexy and ready to overclock with the best of them.
Having just got their hands on a selection of PIII, Athlon and Celeron processors, the babes are just itching to get their speed up. Today we take a look at SDRAM, and what the ratings mean:
NS RATING
CAS
MAX BUS
12ns
2
83mhz
3
100mhz
10ns
112mhz
8ns
124mhz
133mhz
7ns
141mhz
150mhz
6ns
166mhz
175mhz
5ns
200mhz
212mhz
So, what does all this mean in English? Well, lets say you're building a PC. (Sarah was shaking when she first built hers) Let's say you get a 500mhz PIII processor and intend to run it at 560mhz. You will need RAM that can handle a bus speed of 112mhz. (Since PIII 500 has a multiplier of 5x). You therefore want to be looking at 8ns RAM. This should give you good stability if you want to push that speed a little further.
I need to take my lingerie out of the washing machine now. Last time, Alison put thermal grease in the wash for a laugh. You should have seen my face the next time I slipped into those undies.......... (Of course we don't wear clothes any more but we still like to wash them)
